Mikee trained as a physiotherapist at AUT and has been working in clinical practice for three years across musculoskeletal and pelvic health settings. Her professional interests include pelvic health physiotherapy for both men and women, sports injury rehabilitation, manual therapy, and post-operative rehabilitation. Her passion lies in helping people with musculoskeletal injuries, pelvic health concerns, or post-operative recovery regain confidence in their bodies and return to the activities that matter most to them, whether that’s managing daily life, preparing for birth, or enjoying life fully again. She loves tailoring treatment plans around each person’s goals and seeing the transformation that comes from patient-centred care, reassurance, and structured rehabilitation.

A recent success story: One of her clients came to see her after an 8-year history of unresolved back pain. She struggled to sit, bend down, or complete daily activities, which affected her confidence and quality of life. Together, they tackled the pain with targeted manual therapy and gradual exercise rehabilitation tailored to her goals. She eventually had a successful vertebral disc replacement and continued her post-op rehab with Mikee. Over time, she grew stronger, regained confidence, and even enjoyed a pain-free holiday to Rarotonga. Two years later, she is now happily pregnant and working with Mikee on pelvic floor physiotherapy, from tears of pain to tears of joy, all achieved through goal-focused and tailored patient-centred care.

Mikee is deeply committed to patient-centred care, listening closely to each person’s story and creating treatment plans that are tailored to their goals. She loves seeing her clients regain confidence in their bodies and return to the activities that matter most. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys travelling, being outdoors, and spending time with her family, the spaces that keep her grounded and grateful.
