Pilates is a regime of exercise focusing on the core postural muscles which help keep the body balanced and which are essential to providing support for the spine. Clinical Pilates harnesses physios’ understanding of body mechanics to tailor exercises to your needs.
In particular, Pilates classes teach awareness of breath and alignment of the spine, and aim to strengthen the deep torso muscles.
A one to one assessment is required with one of our physio Pilates instructors prior to entering into a group class.
